We are a church family excited and committed to serving and worshipping Jesus Christ. Each worship service is devoted to honoring the Lord through song, prayer, praise, testimony and a life-changing message form God’s Word. The Holy Spirit has the freedom to move whenever and however He wills. It is our belief that “People will not care how much we know until they know how much we care” (Charles Swindoll). With the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we at Grace Church of Kendall are striving to address the personal needs of each child, teen and adult, as well as minister to the family as a whole. It’s a vital ministry that only the Lord can accomplish as we faithfully commit ourselves to His will and service.

STATEMENT OF FAITH:

Grace Church of Kendall has been a lighthouse in South Florida since 1963. We have experienced God's Grace in every phase of structural and spiritual development of this ministry.

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (Hebrews 4:12)

WE BELIEVE that there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.(Luke 1:35)

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth (Matt. 1:18), in His Sinless Life, in His Miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His Bodily Resurrection, in His Ascension to the Right Hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

WE BELIEVE in the blessed Hope, which is the Rapture of the Church at Christ's coming. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

WE BELIEVE that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through Repentance and Faith in the precious Blood of Christ. (Matthew 26:28)

WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal Salvation. (Ephesians 4:30)

WE BELIEVE that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides Healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Matthew 9:20-22)

WE BELIEVE that the Baptism of he Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers, who ask for it.

WE BELIEVE in the Sanctifying Power of the Holy Spirit by His indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy Life. (Romans 8:9-11)

WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved, and the lost, the one to Everlasting Life (John 14:2,4) and the other to everlasting Damnation.

OUR MISSION:

To creatively nurture people to love God and to share His Love

Our goals and visions for this church are quite simple, but precise. We want to feed the flock (Eph, 5:2). We want the Word of God to be heard and believed for exactly what it says, and then to be acted upon. With God’s help we want to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, helping them to become mature, and the body edified (Eph. 4:12). Through faith and hard work we will see God’s people actively reaching the lost to be attracted to our church, hungering to know the awesome God we serve.

We want every area of ministry that exists now to be committed to seeking revival and to being evangelistic. Our services should be an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit has the freedom to do whatever He wants to do. The gifts of the Spirit should be operating so that needs will be met and God will be glorified. Most of all, we want Jesus to be exalted and lifted up in this church. If He is, He will draw men unto Himself.
